Rent an Icarus Server with Citadel Servers Today

Managing an ICARUS server involves more than simply keeping it online. As a server administrator, you may need to manage players, troubleshoot unexpected issues, adjust the gameplay experience, or respond quickly to situations that would otherwise interrupt your session. This is where ICARUS admin commands become particularly useful. Admin commands provide server administrators with additional tools and controls that are not available to regular players. Once you have successfully authenticated as an administrator, you can use these commands to perform various server-management tasks directly from the in-game chat. Depending on the command, administrative tools can help you manage players, control the server environment, handle gameplay-related tasks, and resolve common issues without having to restart or manually modify server files. These commands can be especially valuable for dedicated server owners and community administrators who need greater control over their multiplayer sessions. They can also save time when troubleshooting problems or testing server configurations, allowing administrators to make changes directly while connected to the server. In this guide, we’ll cover the most useful ICARUS admin commands, explain what each command does, and provide examples of how to use them correctly. Whether you’re new to server administration or looking for a quick reference for commonly used commands, this guide will help you understand how to use ICARUS’s administrative tools effectively.

(Note: These commands are available exclusively to server administrators. For instructions on how to obtain administrator access, see our guide here.)
