Adjusting the player limit allows you to better manage server capacity and create an experience that suits your group. In this guide, we’ll show you how to configure the maximum player count on your Core Keeper server and adjust the setting to accommodate the number of players you want to allow.
Changing the Maximum Player Limit
1. Log in to your Game Panel to start your server.
2. Before making any modifications, stop the server from running by clicking the Stop button.
3. Navigate to the Configuration Files section.

4. In the Configuration Files section, locate ServerConfig.json, then select Text Editor next to the file to open and edit its settings.
5. In ServerConfig.json, locate the maxNumberPlayers setting and change its value to the desired maximum number of players allowed on your server.

(Note: Keep in mind that the maximum number of players is limited by the player capacity included with your purchased service. Any value set above your plan’s player limit will not be applied to your server.)
6. After making the necessary changes, click Save to apply the updated settings to your server.
