Setting up a new world in Hytale is one of the most exciting steps for any server owner. Whether you’re building a community hub, launching an adventure map, or simply experimenting with terrain generation, creating a fresh world gives you full control over the environment your players will explore. In this guide, we’ll walk through the foundational steps to help you understand the process, from preparing your server to customizing your world’s settings. Creating a New World on your Hytale Server
1. Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your service.
2. Navigate to the Web-Console Tab.
3. In the Web-Console tab, run the following command:
/world add <name>
You can also use the other world command settings here:
/world add <name> |
Generates a new world. |
/world list |
Lists the loaded worlds. |
/world setdefault <name> |
Sets a world to default for new players. |
/world load <name> |
Loads a world to run on the server. |
/world remove <name> |
Removes the desired world. |
/world prune --confirm |
Removes all loaded worlds with no online players. |
After running the command, the server will automatically create the world and activate it.
4. You can now join the server and test if everything is loaded correctly.
