As a server owner or admin, you’ll occasionally need to take action against disruptive players. That’s where the kick, ban, and unban commands come into play. These tools are essential for maintaining order, protecting your community, and ensuring that gameplay remains fun and fair. How to Kick, Ban, and Unban Players on your Hytale Server
You can execute these commands either through the server console or directly in-game. When entering commands in the server console, do not include the leading slash.
However, when using in-game chat, always include a slash before the command.
Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your service.
Before making any modifications, stop the server from running by clicking the Stop button.
Navigate to the Web-Console Tab.
To Kick Players
This command removes a player from the server but does not block them from joining again later.
Server Console:
kick <playername>
In-Game :
/kick <playername>
To Ban Players
This command blocks a player from rejoining the server until their ban is lifted. You may also include an optional reason after the player’s name to explain the ban.
Server Console:
ban <playername> [reason]
In-Game:
/ban <playername> [reason]
To Unban Players
This command lifts a player’s ban, restoring their ability to rejoin the server.
Server Console:
unban <playername>
In-Game:
/unban <playername>
