The Resource Gathering Multiplier is an important gameplay setting that controls the amount of resources players receive when gathering materials on your Palworld server. By adjusting this multiplier, you can customize how quickly players collect essential resources such as wood, stone, ore, fiber, and other materials found throughout the world. This setting can significantly affect the overall pace of progression, making it useful for both casual and more challenging server configurations. A higher multiplier increases the amount of resources obtained from gathering, allowing players to collect materials more quickly and spend less time farming. This can be especially useful for servers focused on faster progression, larger builds, or groups of players who need substantial amounts of resources. Conversely, a lower multiplier reduces the amount of resources obtained, creating a slower and more resource-intensive survival experience where players must spend more time gathering and managing their materials. For example, setting the multiplier to 2.0 generally increases the amount gathered compared to the default rate, while a value below 1.0 can make resource collection more demanding. The exact impact may vary depending on the resource and game mechanics, so it is recommended to test your preferred value in-game after making changes. In this guide, we'll explain how to locate the Resource Gathering Multiplier setting on your Palworld server, adjust it to your preferred value, and apply the changes. Whether you're looking to create a faster-paced server with accelerated resource collection or a more challenging environment with slower progression, customizing this setting gives you greater control over your server's overall gameplay experience.

 5. In the Text Editor, locate the Gathering Rate settings and adjust the values according to your preferred gameplay experience.

Setting Description
Gatherable Item Drop Rate Multiplies the amount of resources gathered from gatherables.
Gatherable Objects HP Multiplier Multiplies the amount of HP a gatherable has. More HP means more resources.
Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval Multiplies the amount of time before a gatherable can respawn.
Enemy Item Drop Rate Multiplies the amount of items received from enemies.

(Note: World gatherable objects must respawn for changes to the Gatherable Objects HP Multiplier to take effect. For example, a tree that was already spawned before the setting was changed will retain its previous HP value until it is destroyed and respawns with the updated value.)

6. After editing, click Save to apply the changes.

You can now start playing on your server.
