You can connect to your Rust server using the ingame console, this guide will show you how.
Simply follow these steps:
Start up your Server and your RUST Game.
One the game is open and loaded. Open the console by pressing F1.
Enter the following command into the console: net.connect 'IP:Port' or net.connect 'Hostname:Port'
Note: Replace IP:Port with your Server's IP and Port e.g. 127.0.0.1:12345
