This article will aim to list some common issues/bugs that you might encounter and how to resolve them.
My non-Steam mods aren't working
First of all you'll want to make sure that you've followed our guide in the knowledgebase on adding non-Steam mods to your server. You can find it here.
If you've followed all the steps in that guide and your mods still aren't working, go into your mod's "mod.info" text file (you can find this in "File Manager > mods > nameofmod > mod.info") and make sure that the name of the mod that you're adding to "Mods" is the name found in this file. So if this file says something like "name=Name of Mod", that's what you would want to try adding to "Mods".
My Steam Workshop mods aren't working/downloading
You'll want to make sure that you've followed our guide on adding Steam Workshop mods to your server. You can find it here.
If you've followed that guide and your mods still aren't working/downloading, the most likely reason behind this is that "WorkshopItems" is misspelt and thus incorrectly defined, so the game will add the value at the bottom of the file which will override the custom one. If you remove the entry that the game automatically added and fix the typo in "WorkshopItems" this issue should be resolved.
