In this guide you will learn how to connect to your Atlas game server.

Server Browser


Note: Make sure you have assigned one of your servers to a home server in the grid, as described here.

  • Navigate to your Citadel Servers web interface
  • Name your server (or use the automatically generated one provided for you)
  • When your server is online, start your Atlas Game. 
  • Click "Join Next Atlas"
  • Change server Sessions Filter to "Unofficial"
  • Type your server name in the search filter
  • click "Select Atlas Server"
  • Choose your spawn location and click "Join" to start

 

Adding your server to favorites with Steam


  • Start your Steam program
  • Navigate to "View -> Servers" in the header bar
  • Add your server to the favorites using the IP address and query port.
  • The added server should show up now
  • Start your Atlas game
  • Open the server browser and select "favorites" as list type

 

Direct start option


  • Start your Steam program
  • Navigate to "Games -> View Games Library" in the header bar
  • right click on "Atlas"
  • Select the "Properties" menu point
  • Click on the button labeled "SET LAUNCH OPTIONS"
  • Enter +connect 127.0.0.1:27015 into the text input field (change the example IP with your Gameserver's IP address)
  • Use +connect 127.0.0.1:27015 +password "YOURPASSWORD" if the server is password protected
  • Confirm with OK
  • Start Atlas via Steam and it should directly connect to the defined server
