This is a quick start article for new FiveM servers
Licenses
All GTA FiveM servers require a license to show up on the server browser, so your first step after purchasing a server, it to generate a license.
You can follow our article on how to do that below:
Updates
Once you've generated a license, you'll want to login to the game panel, and click the "Updates" button. Once in the updates menu, install the latest FXserver build available.
Mods
After you've gotten your Base FiveM server up and running, to install mods manually, upload them to the resources folder in the File Manager, or through an FTP client. After that, go to Configuration Files, and edit your server.cfg file to tell it to start the mods you installed. To add mods automatically, go to our Mod Manager, and install the mods you want.
|DO TAKE NOTE|
Make sure to review your server.cfg after you install mods, even with our mod manager.
When installing ESX Fully Loaded 2, install mods AFTER backing up your server.cfg and add them manually.
If you encounter the error "error duplicate: name" or something simillar, clear your MySQL database.
When using mods with a MySQL database like the ESX framework or Essentials, you will HAVE TO go into the database and edit the tables as needed.
Mods like those from ESX are in development, and not english, we are not the developers for the mods, any issues in-game from them are not something we can fix most of the time.
Mods are released AS-IS from the developers with the exception of those in ESX fully loaded 2, and only that package.

Rcon
We do have a built in RCON tool on the gamepanel, just plug in your password and command, then press execute. If you encounter a problem with the RCON button, you can use IceCon as a workaround. IceCon is an RCON client for FiveM, free, and simple to use. You can learn about that in the article linked below.

Tips & Hints
ESX identity is what locks ESX module[that support it] to specific characters and players, if you want that off, disable it in the configs and server.cfg. Blips are configurable in some mods/modpacks like ESX and VRP. With the right knowhow, you can change the icon, color, and coordinates as you please. If you want the webconsole MySQL spam for ESX to disappear, set the mysql debug convar in the server.cfg to off/false. You don't need to install Essentials with any ESX from our Mod Manager, it comes with it already. Some mods will have keybinding conflicts, you will need to edit the client files to change keybindings like in Mellotrainer.
